The Arai GP-7 delivers an extensive list of new features including; a new re-positioned lower shield pivot point that increases the protective area of the helmet, new restyled air intake ports for optimum efficiency, two additional exhaust ports on the top of the helmet for improved exhaust airflow, a new chin bar design, new cheek pads that encapsulate your head for an amazing compact feel, and an updated rear exhaust cowling for improved aerodynamics and better exhaust air venting. Arai's core design philosophy of a Round and Smooth Form has evolved even further and to a new Level.
The all-new GPV-R, holding true to the Egg-Shaped Form (ESF) and with a priority for protection embedded into even the smallest details. The reshaped shell lowers the shield pivot point to allow the upper portion of the shell to be smoother and rounder to redistribute impact energy more efficiently and minimize or even avoid impact energy intrusion. This strict adherence to the ESF, allows some impact energies to "Glance-Off" the shell during impact.
The addition of the shield center lock, with a positive lock and effortless function from either side of the helmet, shows Arai's commitment to driver protection and performance.
