Few riders have challenged Marc Marquez this year and come out on top, but Arai racer Maverick Vinales did just that at the Assen MotoGP. Vinales battled to the front several times after running wide in windy conditions that caught several riders out, but with three laps to go he pulled an insurmountable lead over Marquez and posted Yamaha’s first win of the 2019 season.
