Shayna Texter doesn’t know why she’s so fast at the Lima half-mile, but for the second consecutive year she handed out a lesson on mastering the track, winning the American Flat Track Singles class by a whopping 2.57 seconds at the line. The Arai racer went from fourth off the start to first in only a handful of laps, then stretched her lead unchallenged to the checkered flag. “I couldn’t figure out how I won this race last year,” said Texter. “So, to win it twice is incredible. It’s a dream come true.” Arai racer Jeffrey Carver finished second in the AFT Twins race, and fellow Arai rider James Rispoli finished third in the Production Twins class.
